Pro-rate charges at load level or stop level

If the charge detail references a load but does not reference a stop or a specific shipment leg, then the associated charge must be distributed based on the percentages established for each shipment leg attached to the load.

If the charge detail references a specific stop, pro-ration will be based on the Data Accumulation Level defined for the master charge associated with the charge detail:

The percentages used for pro-ration will be based on either weight (or volume or pallets) or extended weight (or volume or pallets) /distance, as dictated by the setting of the Load Pro-ration Strategy.

Even if the load is attached to a trip or booking, the amount associated with each charge detail will be pro-rated only to the shipment legs assigned to the specified load.
