List of System Navigation Pad Modules (Employee)

This list of System Navigation Pad Modules is accessed directly via a link on the Navigation Pad in the Environment module. The Navigation Pad Modules and Contents define the access right of items on the Navigation Pad for all user groups.

Deactivating a module from the List of System Navigation Pad Modules would prevent it from being available for any User Group.

For example: If in your environment you decide that only the Load Processing flow will be used, you might decide to deactivate the Manifest Processing module at the system level.

For the modules that you decide to keep active globally, you can declare whether each module should be automatically enabled when creating a new user group.

The Navigation Pad Modules that are enabled for individual User Groups will be used to populate the Navigation frame of the web UI for users in the group.

The List of System Navigation Pad Modules will present the set of rows from the Navigation Pad Modules table that controls the configuration for the entire system. By default, the modules will be sorted in ascending order, first by Module Sort Sequence, then by Module ID.

For information on icons and functionalities available on the list pages, see Web Interface lists.

Sort Sequence will control the sequence in which the modules are listed when loading the List of System Navigation Pad Modules and presenting the Navigation frame of the web UI. Sort sequence is not editable for the Solutions module.

Note: Special handling is in place for the Solutions module (SOLUTIONS_). This module contents for this "module" will be used to populate the Solutions portion of the Navigation frame. The Solutions module will not appear under the Navigation link for any user group. The Sequence Number for the Solutions Module is not editable.

Note: The Solutions (SOLUTIONS_) module is used to populate the Solutions portion of the Navigation Pad. Solutions will typically refer to other applications. All other modules are presented in the Navigation portion of the Navigation Pad. These will refer to Transportation Manager modules.

Note: The user (system administrator) may Activate or Deactivate a Navigation Pad Module to control its availability at the system level. When a Module is deactivated, all existing setups of the Module and its Contents for user groups will be removed.

Note: The user (system administrator) may Enable or Disable a Navigation Pad Module to control its availability default for user groups.

Note: The first function within the module with the lowest Sort Sequence (excluding the Solutions module) will be the default function for each user in a given user group.

Note: The Employee module or a user defined module should never have the lowest Sort Sequence for the modules enabled for a given User Group.
