List of Shipments Processed by the Optimization Request (Employee)
This page displays the list of shipment legs that are impacted by an optimization request in any of the following ways:
Assigned to new loads
Assigned to modified loads
Not assigned to a load but optimized for a manifest workflow
Unroutable; cannot be assigned to a load or manifest workflow
Already on an existing load that was identified as unroutable during replanning
Already on an existing trip or booking that was identified as unroutable during replanning
Notes:
Manifest workflow refers to shipment legs that are assigned a carrier, tariff, and service, but not to a load. This occurs if the Assign to Load check box for the applicable tariff service combination is not selected.
This list excludes shipment legs already assigned to a load that is not modified during optimization.
Shipment leg data associated with the optimization request is retrieved from the shipment leg audit table. Data is available only when the plan complete audit event is selected to retain data at shipment level.
The data displayed in the list depends on the shipment leg audit table, so the following situations are possible:
Data may differ from the current values of the shipment leg
Shipment leg may no longer exist
Any task triggered from this page (for example, rating, properties, or additional information) is performed on the actual shipment leg and fails if the shipment leg does not exist. There is a separate purge process for audit data, so the audit data associated with an optimization request can be purged before the task is triggered.
To view the failure reason for unroutable shipment legs, perform any of the following:
When you click Rating or Rate Shop, one of the following pages is displayed:
If the shipment leg is attached to a load, the Shipment Leg – Charges page is displayed. This page displays load charges prorated to the applicable shipment leg
If the shipment leg is not attached to a load, the Route, Rate and Schedule page is displayed.
