A condition defines the method by which the basic costs for a transaction will be computed.
For Example: Charges for one tariff/service might be based on a rate per pound while rates for another tariff/service might be based on a rate per mile. Rating will be performed for each tariff/service using the rating units applicable to the conditions configured for that tariff/service.
An option is an accessorial or miscellaneous charge for something extra that is required for a specific transaction, such as 9:00 a.m. delivery or a delivery inside a shopping mall. Charges associated with options will be triggered only when the option is explicitly requested. Options can also be used to control dock selection.
You must set up master conditions and options before you can assign them to tariffs.
By default, the List of Master Conditions / Options is sorted in ascending order by Charge ID.
For information on icons and functionalities available on the list pages, see Web Interface lists.
