Carrier ID: ID of the carrier for whom this driver can work. It is mandatory to associate a driver with the carrier and cannot be modified after the driver is created.
Carrier Name: Name of the carrier for whom this driver can work.
Driver
Driver ID: A unique identifier for the driver across all carriers.
Status: Indicates whether the driver is currently active; inactive driverswill not be considered when suggesting potential drivers for a movement.
Linked TM Login User ID: Unique ID of the TM user. When specified, this driver can directly login to TM as a carrier type user. The same value cannot be given to multiple drivers.
Driver Name: Name of the driver.
Department of Transportation Identifier: DOT identifier of the driver.
Driver License Number: License number of the driver; when a driver is assigned to a load, this value will be used to populate the driver license number on the load; since this is a text field it could also be used to capture issuing jurisdiction (e.g. country, province/state).
Driver Performance Grade: Specifies the driver performance grade (0 to 100) that is used when sorting a list of eligible drivers for a load; this could be populated using data extracted from another data source, or manually assigned.
Driver Pool: Driver pool that this driver belongs to.
Expiration Date: Expiration date for the driver, for example, the end date of the driver's contract, licenses, insurances; a driver can only be assigned to a load/trip when this date is at least x days after the load/trip’s scheduled end date, where x is configurable in global settings.
Tractor Number: Tractor number in case the driver uses a specific tractor; when a driver is assigned to a load, this value will be used to populate the tractor number on the load.
Tractor Owner: Carrier that owns the tractor in case the driver uses a specific tractor; when a driver is assigned to a load, this value will be used to populate the tractor owner on the load.
Tractor License Number: License number of the tractor in case the driver uses a specific tractor; when a driver is assigned to a load, this value will be used to populate the tractor license number on the load.
Cost Center: Cost center used when generating A/P vouchers and G/L transactions based on the activity for this driver; if not defined, cost center from the carrier is considered.
Address
Address: Address for drivers are maintained using the Work with Address (Customer/Employee)page that can be accessed using the Work with Address () icon.
Contact Information
Contact Information: Contact information for the driver level is auto-populated from the contact information of the associated Linked TM Login User ID (if populated); values here must match the TM User Profile. This information is editable in Update mode.
