Work with Address (Customer/Employee)

Addresses consist of the following elements:

Addresses can be defined for the following static (non-transactional) entities in Transportation Manager:

There is also one System Setting that has an associated address:

Each of these entities are linked to the Work With Address page. (Address information is accessed for editing purposes from within each entity's "properties" view, usually on the General tab.)

Addresses can also be defined for two of the transactional entities in Transportation Manager:

The Override field of an entity address indicates if the latitude and longitude default values have been overridden. You cannot edit this field.

This field is cleared when you refresh the latitude and longitude values.

For transactional entities, the initial status of this field is the status of the flag of the related shipping location. For example: If you use an origin load-at with this field selected, then this field on the shipment is also selected.

The first seven elements in the previous list make up the actual address. When address data is searched for or validated, these elements are referenced.

Notes, Residential, and Geo Codes (Longitude and Latitude) are displayed on the Work With Address UI but do not affect the search or validation process on the Work With Address page.
