The Auto-Applied Options screen appears in the properties of:
Auto-Applied options are used to pre-define options that the system can automatically select when a location is assigned to a shipment, shipment leg, load, trip, booking or rate quotation (rate calculator request).
For example:
When Apply A/R Option is enabled for Rate or Route/Rate, the option is enabled when performing Routing, Rating and Scheduling for a Shipment that starts or ends at this location, or for a Rate Quotation that refers to this location as the origin or destination.
When Apply A/P Option is enabled for Rate or Route/Rate, the option is enabled when performing Routing, Rating and Scheduling for a Shipment Leg that starts or ends at this location, or for a load or trip that stops at this location. The option is also enabled for a Rate Quotation that refers to this location on its itinerary.
Auto-Applied Options refer to master conditions/options that are defined as options where Option Utilization is Tariff Service Selection.
An option with a Data Accumulation Level of Drop Location cannot be defined for a Load-At; an option with a Data Accumulation Level of Pick Location cannot be defined for a Consignee.
Note: Auto-applied options functionality is fully enabled for shipments, shipment legs, loads, trips, booking and rate calculator requests (web UI). Auto-applied options are conditionally recognized when requests are triggered using the Rate Quotation API, based on an input parameter. Auto-applied options are not recognized when routing is performed for non-operational freight transactions.
Note: When scheduling is performed using a Delivery Schedule where Allow Multiple Itineraries is selected, Auto-Applied options will be included for intermediate transfer locations on the sequence of itineraries used to route the freight from the origin to the destination.
