Route and Rate Non-Operational Freight (Employee)

This page provides access to the routing and rating process for a non-operational freight (NOF) entity and is accessible from either the A/P or A/R mode depending on the point of entry.

Note: If you try to perform the rate shop operation for a NOF that is not eligible for rating updates, the Route, Rate and Schedule page for non-operational freight is displayed instead of the Rate Shop page.

Notes:

• If a NOF entity is eligible to be rated, this page allows you to define or update charge overrides, apply a spot rate, invoke rating, and review rate shop results.
• If a NOF entity is no longer eligible to be rated, this page displays the previous rating results of the NOF entity.
• The route and rate process for a NOF entity is triggered when you modify any of its attributes that impact rating.
• If required, the route, rate and schedule process for a NOF entity is triggered in A/R mode when the NOF entity is selected by the A/R voucher generation process.
• Charge overrides defined before triggering the route, rate and schedule process for a NOF entity are used to determine eligible tariff or service combinations and impact rating results.
• The Rate Shop and Submit buttons are not always active.
