For each load that is part of the trip or booking, the Fixed Itinerary Distance and Loaded Distance for the load will be retrieved.
If Pro-Ration Strategy is one of:
Pro-Rate Based on Weight and Distance
Pro-Rate Based on Volume and Distance
Pro-Rate Based on Pallets and Distance
Pro-Rate Based on Weight, Volume, and Distance
Pro-Rate Based on Total Distance
Pro-Rate Based on Loaded Distance
and distances cannot be established for one or more of the loads attached to a trip or booking, the pro-ration formulae will revert to using the equivalent strategy that does not include distance as basis for cost distribution.
This means that:
If the Pro-Ration Strategy is Pro-Rate Based on Weight and Distance and distances cannot be computed, the pro-ration formulae will revert to using Pro-Rate Based on Weight strategy.
If the Pro-Ration Strategy is Pro-Rate Based on Volume and Distance and distances cannot be computed, the pro-ration formulae will revert to using Pro-Rate Based on Volume strategy
If the Pro-Ration Strategy is Pro-Rate Based on Pallets and Distance and distances cannot be computed, the pro-ration formulae will revert to using Pro-Rate Based on Pallets strategy
If the Pro-Ration Strategy is Pro-Rate Based on Weight, Volume, and Distance and distances cannot be computed, the pro-ration formulae will revert to using Pro-Rate Based on Weight and Volume strategy.
If the Pro-Ration Strategy is Pro-Rate Based on Total Distance and the distances cannot be computed, the pro-ration formulae will revert to using Pro-Rate Based on Weight strategy.
If the Pro-Ration Strategy is Pro-Rate Based on Loaded Distance and the distances cannot be computed, the pro-ration formulae will revert to using Pro-Rate Based on Weight strategy.
