Use this page to view and modify the cost and equipment type for each load on the trip for a specific tariff/service combination.
By default, this page displays the preferred trailer equipment type for each load on the trip. If trailer equipment type is not hard committed, user will be able to override the default values. Trigger rating (using the Rate operation) to verify that the overridden values for trailer equipment type are valid for the applicable carrier/tariff/service.
Users can enable or disable application of resource constraints for one or more loads on a trip by changing the Apply Resource Constraints field in the results grid. The initial value indicates if resource constraints are considered in the current rating request. If the setting was applied from the Rate Shop for Trips page, all loads in the results grid will reflect this same setting. The value can be changed for individual loads and will be evaluated and applied upon Submit or Submit / Tender.
Selecting a Tariff Service Combination when Submit and Submit / Tender is triggered from the Rate Shop - Loads on Trip page:
If the Hard Commit check box is selected in the Submit Options section, the carrier, service, tractor domicile, and tractor equipment type for the trip will be hard committed based on the tariff/service combination previously selected from the Rate Shop page for trips. Trailer equipment type for each load will also be hard committed. Otherwise, any of the values associated with the selected route that are not hard committed will become soft committed.
