List of Incoterms (Employee)

Incoterms are a set of standard international freight terms defined by the International Chamber of Commerce. They bring consistency to the description of freight movements, and help eliminate uncertainty regarding which party is responsible for paying the cost of the freight movement, particularly for international shipments.

Although Incoterms can cover many of the responsibilities for a shipment, Transportation Manager's function within Incoterms is only to identify the party responsible for the shipping costs.

When an Incoterms is provided for a shipment, Aan Incoterms location must also be defined. on the shipment.

Incoterms require that you specify a buyer or seller perspective for a shipment.

The following three versions of Incoterms are available in Transportation Manager:

An Incoterms must refer one of these three versions. You can optionally define an Incoterms Version in the customer properties. The Incoterms Version for the customer will be assigned to any shipments created for this customer.

There is a finite number of Incoterms associated with each version (for example: 11 for Incoterms 2010, 13 for Incoterms 2000). You can use this function to define which of these terms will be available for use in each of your divisions.
