Note: The Cancel Booking Tender function is only available for bookings where the tender request is currently in Tendered or Tender Accepted status and is not in the process of booking revision (that is, the Booking Revision in Process field value is No).
Use this page to cancel a booking level tender. The carrier is notified by email, fax, or EDI (by event notification), depending on the tender notification methods defaulted from the Tariff Service or manually overridden on the Tender Contacts page.
The Cancel Tender process sets the tender request to Tender Canceled status and changes the operational status of booking and assigned loads to Planned.
A State Transition entry is created for the booking and for each affected load using a system-assigned Event Reason Code. Users viewing the Event History for each load can identify the Cancel Tender as a specific load level event.
Tender Cancel is an event supported by the Auditing process. If this event has been enabled, an image of the booking, each load and associated stops, charge details, and attached shipment legs are captured.
When Cancel Tender is performed for a booking level tender request in Tendered or Tender Accepted status, the Event Notification message BookingTenderCancelled is created at booking level if it is activated; otherwise, the Event Notification message LoadTenderCancelled is created for each assigned load in Tendered or Tender Accepted status.
