Use Date Range on search pages vs. Date Range in tables

A combo box with title "Date Range Mode" will be presented on search pages where a date range can be used to filter against two date/time data base columns representing a range. The combo box will contain the following entries:

• 1-Date Range is within Search Range
• 2-Date Range overlaps with Search Range
• 3-From Date is within Search Range
• 4-To Date is within Search Range

For example, for a search page where user can define a Shipment Pickup Date Range, the four options would be interpreted as follows:

• 1-Entire Pickup Date Range in table is within the Search Range on UI
• 2-Pickup Date Range in table overlaps with Search Range on UI
• 3-From Pickup Date in table is within the Search Range on UI
• 4-To Pickup Date in table is within the Search Range on UI

The combo box will appear in the section on the search page that contains the date ranges used to filter vs. date ranges in the data base. The combo box will be presented just once, regardless of how many date ranges in the section can be used to filter against the date portion of a date/time range in a table. The selected approach will be used when performing filtering for all applicable date ranges. The combo box is not applicable for date ranges on search pages used to filter against a single date column in the data base.
