Purge Rate Quotations

Purge Rate Quotations is initiated from the Supplementary Purge using Request Type "PQTE".

The Purge Rate Quotations utility will delete all the qualifying entries in the following tables:

• Rate Quotation Header (RATE_QTE_T)
• Rate Quotation Itinerary (RATE_QTE_ITNR_T)
• Rate Quotation Leg (RATE_QTE_LEG_T)
• Rate Quotation Scheduling Results (RATE_QTE_SCHD_T)
• Rate Quotation Weight by Freight Class (RATE_QTE_WGT_BY_FRHTCLS_T)
• Charge Override (CHRG_OVRD_T)
• Memo (MMO_T)
• Rating Information (RATG_INFO_T)
• Charge Detail (CHRG_DETL_T)

This function will purge Rate Quotations that meet one of the following sets of selection criteria:

• Rate Quotation is in Closed Status and Expiration Date is older than the cut-off date
• Rate Quotation is in Active Status and Expiration Date is older than the cut-off date for active quotations

Note: A Rate Quotation will be created when user selects the Save as Rate Quotation button from the Summary Results page after performing a Rate Calculator request.
