Purge Audit Data

Purge Audit Data is initiated from the Supplementary Purge using Request Type "PA".

The Purge Audit Data utility's primary function is to delete from the Transportation Manager database the audit data corresponding to the operational entities that are older than a user provided cutoff date.

The Purge Audit Data utility will delete all the qualifying audit entries in the following tables:

• Audit Control (AUDT_CTL_T)
• Charge Detail Audit (AUDT_CHRG_DETL_T)
• Charge Override Audit (AUDT_CHRG_OVRD_T)
• External Cost Audit (AUDT_EXTL_COST_T)
• Load Audit (AUDT_LD_LEG_T)
• Load Schedule Audit (AUDT_LD_LEG_SCHD_T)
• Resource Audit (AUDT_RSRC_T)
• Shipment Leg Audit (AUDT_LD_LEG_DETL_T)
• Shipment Audit (AUDT_SHPM_T)
• Stop Audit (AUDT_STOP_T)
• Trip / Booking Audit (AUDT_TRIP_T)

The Purge Audit Data process will not impact the corresponding transactional data in Transportation Manager.

The Transactional Purge utility will not impact the audit tables in Transportation Manager.

There is no referential integrity between data in the transaction tables and audit tables.

For example: A row could exist in the load audit table that refers to a load ID that no longer exists in the load table.
