Delete an Explicitly Selected Dock Commitment from a Chart or List
The Delete Dock Commitment operation can be triggered from the Dock Commitment Gantt Chart as well as from the dock commitment lists that support updates. This operation will delete an explicitly selected dock commitment.
This operation will prompt for a Reason Code when multiple potential Reason Codes have been configured for the Delete Dock Commitment operation. The generic Request Reason Code page will be presented to prompt user for a Reason Code, if necessary. A Reason Code will be mandatory when the page is presented. The list of Reason Codes presented to the user will be established by selecting rows configured for the applicable user group type.
There are actually two separate versions of the Delete Dock Commitment operation. Typically, a maximum of one of these operations will be available to the users from any given user group. The version available to each user group will be controlled by the systems administrator.
In all cases, the user must be authorized to delete the selected dock commitment. See "Restrictions by User Group".

Delete Dock Commitments from Load Build Control Page
The Delete Dock Commitments operation can be triggered from the Load Build Control page. This operation will delete all dock commitments that satisfy the designated selection criteria.
This version of the operation will not prompt for a Reason Code.
As with the Delete Dock Commitment operation, there are two versions of the Delete Dock Commitments operation, just one of which will consider the status of the related load and stops. In addition to the validation described above for the Delete Dock Commitment operation, if a related load is attached to a load plan, it must be attached to the current user’s current plan.
