Business Hours – Time Zone Offset

The Time Zone Offset field indicates the number of hours by which the entity’s time zone differs from the time zone in which your company operates.

For example: If the entity and you are in the same time zone, the value in this field will be zero. If the entity is one hour behind you, the value in this field will be –1. For example, the offset would be -1 if your company operates in the Eastern Time Zone of North America and the entity is based in the Central Time Zone of North America.

The Scheduling algorithms will take the Time Zone Offset of each location into consideration when computing schedules between locations in different time zones.
