The Update Password operation will change the password of any TM user. This operation provides coverage for cases where TM Authentication is enabled, but the TM Login page (i.e. where end-user access to ‘Change Password’ is typically provided) is not enabled.
Installations that have enabled TM Login have the option to use this operation as an alternative to the Reset Password operation in cases where a user forgets his password.
