Rate Calculator is the launching point for Rate Calculator requests. Depending on the environment, results of this process can optionally be saved as a Rate Quotation. The Rate Calculator page has two input tabs, as described below.
The Main tab accepts the main information that is required for rating: origin, destination, date, weight, volume, pieces, pallets, freight class, etc.
The More Rating Units and Options tab allows the user to define any desired options as well as any input units for conditions or options that support the manual input of rating units.
Note: The Units of Measure used to qualify the Rating Units can be modified on the Control page.
Note: The refresh icon for the origin and destination city on the Main tab will establish a default for corresponding zip/postal code; the refresh icon for the origin and destination zip/postal code will establish default for corresponding city and state/province.
