Use this screen to enter proof of delivery information for a selected shipment leg. The information displayed includes Location and Shipment information, POD information and details on the POD quantities and weights.
Use this screen to advance the status to POD for shipment legs in In Transit, Partially Delivered, Delivered or Partially POD.
The statuses Partially Delivered and Partially POD are only applicable for shipment legs attached to a manifest.
If proof of delivery is performed at shipment leg level for a shipment leg that has shipment leg containers, proof of delivery will be performed for all associated shipment leg containers where POD has not already been reported.
Entering POD information for a shipment leg where shipment leg container data exists should be performed only when overrides are not required for the POD weight, pieces and pallets. Otherwise, POD should be reported for individual shipment leg containers.
Note: The POD Date/Time should be expressed in the time zone context of the shipping location where the freight is being delivered. Reported Date/Time should be expressed in the time zone context of the system.
