List of Item Number Item Loading Factors (Employee)

This page lists item loading factors for the selected item number. Item loading factors define the maximum quantity that can be loaded for a combination of item number or item type, equipment type, and loading type. This maximum could be applicable globally or one or more of these factors might limit its applicability:

• Origin Zone
• Destination Zone
• Minimum/Maximum Distance
• Minimum/Maximum Transit Time

The default distance and transit time for the shipment will be used. This will be computed using the default distance/transit time engine for the country or countries.

Zones will also be evaluated using the origin and destination for the shipment.

An item loading factor can be associated with either an item number or item type.

An item loading factor must have a defined item package level ID that is used to define default attributes for the item summary level of a shipment. The information from the item summary level is used to find the applicable item loading factor.

By default, the list is sorted in ascending order by the Priority, Equipment Type, Origin Zone, and Destination Zone fields.

Operations

• Delete: Deletes selected item loading factors.
• Duplicate: Creates a copy of the selected item loading factor.
• New: Creates an item loading factor.
• Properties: Displays the properties of the selected item loading factor such as item description, loading type, equipment type, item package level ID, origin and destination zones, and restrictions on distance, transit time, and quantity.
