List of Item Groups (Employee)

Item groups allow you to classify item masters. You might set up a separate item group for each customer, indicating that each customer would use a different set of items. Alternatively, all of your customers or a group of them might reference a single item group.

List

The List of Item Groups displays the Item Groups based on current search criteria. By default, the list is sorted in ascending order by Item Group ID.

Properties

The Item Group property page supports the definition of information specific to the item group such as ID, unit of measure applicable to the container types in that group, NMFC and Harmonized Tariff requirements.

Note: Once at least one Item has been assigned to a Item group, the information in that group is no longer editable.

When an item group is duplicated, the memo associated with the existing item group will be duplicated for the new item group.
