The List of Functions lists both the system-defined and user-defined Functions being used by Transportation Manager. Functions are referenced by Navigation Pad Module Contents and serve as the link between the Navigation Pad configuration and the corresponding URL.
List
By default, the List of Functions is sorted in ascending order by Function ID.
For information on icons and functionalities available on the list pages, see Web Interface lists.
The Delete operation is available only for user-defined Functions
Properties
The properties for a Function are defined on a single page. Most system-defined Functions are presented in read-only mode. The Description, URL and URL Parameters will be editable in update mode for user-defined Functions as well as system-defined Functions representing JDA solutions that are not part of Transportation Manager.
Note: Transportation Manager allows user-defined links to be configured on the navigation pad. A Function (user-defined or system-defined) will be referenced when adding new links to a module.
See "Function Fields" for additional information.
A user-defined Function can be created that refers to a system-provided Transportation Manager operation as long as the operation does not require any input parameters. For example, the New operation for any entity could be created as a Function which could in turn be referenced when creating a Module Content. The result would be that the New operation could appear as a link on the navigation pad. Click to the right of the URL field to activate a secondary search that will list all eligible operations:
