List of Customer/Location Cross-References (Employee)

The List of Customer/Location Cross-References defines the business relationship between customers and shipping locations. This table also allows you to record the IDs used by your customers in their systems (that is, the IDs by which the customer refers to shipping locations).

An applicable Customer / Location relationship is a pre-requisite for the creation of a non-operational freight transaction.

If a Customer / Location relationship exists linking the customer for a load and location for the load's first pick-up stop, and a Tender Contact has been configured for this customer, this associated individual is assigned as the Sender's Tender Contact for the load.

When the List of Customer/Location Cross-References is accessed for a customer, it is titled the List of Location Cross-References. Default sort sequence is ascending by Location ID.

When the List of Customer/Location Cross-References is accessed for a shipping location, it is titled the List of Customer Cross-References. Default sort sequence is ascending by Customer ID.

Properties

The properties for a specific Customer/Location combination are defined on a single page.

The property page allows you to define multiple aliases for any given combination. Only one of these aliases can be declared as the primary identifier.

The Relationship Type describes the relationship between a customer and another entity (Same Entity, Arms Length, Corporate).
