Commodity codes support the categorization of shipments as they are entered into the system. This enables the more efficient management of shipments provided that the commodity type of a shipment may impact its handling.
On the List of Commodity Exclusions page, you can specify the commodities, equipment types, and equipment compartment details that cannot be shipped on the same load as the selected commodity.
List
The List of Commodities displays the Commodity Codes based on current search criteria. By default, the list is sorted in ascending order by Commodity Code.

Properties
The Commodity Code properties consists of one screen. When a commodity is duplicated, the exclusions defined for the existing commodity are duplicated for the new commodity.
