The List of Business Hour Zones defines the Business Hour Zone Group. You can define Zones that will share the same default Business Hours and Business Hour Exceptions. Business Hour Zones will be useful for setting up regional or national holidays and business hours.
When a Shipping Location, Carrier or a Customer is created, the business hours lookup hierarchy will first use the defined address to try to identify a corresponding Business Hour Zone. If a Business Hour Zone is identified, the hours and dates defined at the Zone level will be used to create the new Business Hours row for the new entity. If a Business Hour Zone cannot be identified, the global default Business Hours for will be used as the base for creating a new row in the Business Hours Table. This business hours lookup hierarchy will not directly impact Carrier Domicile: a Domicile’s default business hours will still be from its associated Shipping Location or from its Carrier when it is not associated to a Shipping Location.
For any Zone, Business Hour Zones cannot cross countries; if overlapping Geo-Areas exist among Business Hour Zones, the one with the most precision will be chosen; and if identical Geo-Areas exist among Business Hour Zones, the first match that the system finds will be used. If later the address of a facility is changed, it is up to the users to verify and update the business hours for the new address.
List
The List of Business Hour Zones displays the Zones that are associated to the Business Hour Zone Group based on current search criteria. By default, the list is sorted in ascending order by Zone ID.

Properties
The properties for a Zone are identical to the properties of a generic zone.
Additional Operations
From the List of Business Hour Zones, existing zones can be associated to the Business Hour Zone Group; zones can be disassociated from the Business Hour Zone Group; or, a new zone can be created and immediately associated to the Business Hour Zone Group.
