Axles

This grid displays the defined list of compartment and/or axle capacity limits for an equipment type.

Note: All weights and locations for equipment types are expressed in the applicable base system unit of measure. All columns are editable in update mode.

• Location: The location of the axle from the nose (i.e. front) of the equipment.
• Tare Weight: The tare weight for the axle.
• Maximum Load Weight: The maximum weight for the axle.
• Spring Factor: This controls how much weight will be assigned to an axle: the higher the spring factor, the more weight can be assigned to the axle. Spring Factor is applicable only when there are three or more axles.
