You can customize Properties views to show sections most commonly needed for reference and hide sections or fields you never or rarely need to look at. During customization, you can arrange the order of sections as they appear on the page. In sections that provide a list, display only columns you have to see. On form based sections, you can select which fields to show and set how many fields display per row in that section.
Customization operations are displayed on the properties page. Customizations apply to all displays of that entity type. This means customizations made on entity properties will apply to every presentation of the properties operation from every entity view respectively.
Each section in a Properties view is pre-defined to show as expanded or collapsed and this appearance can be altered and saved as part of your configuration, or temporarily applied within the current session. To temporarily apply sections as expanded or collapsed, click on the section header to expand or collapse the section. The next time you access the properties page for this entity type, the application remembers to show the section as you last left it (expanded or collapsed). This behavior is forgotten once you leave the TSB session. That is, your next session will render the properties page based on your saved configuration.
There are two major functions provided for customizing properties views: Customize Page and Customize Layout.
