Select bookings to be sent to Optimizer

If the Include Eligible Bookings check box on the Create Optimization Request page is selected, bookings will be selected if they satisfy filter criteria as specified on the Create Optimization Request – Select Bookings (Employee) page and also meet the following fixed criteria:

• Booking division matches division for the optimization request.
• Booking operational status is not All Loads Completed, Closed, or Canceled.
• Optimization Request ID for booking is not assigned.
• If booking refers to a Plan ID, it must be equal to the plan defined for the Optimization Request.
• Booking is not active in the booking revision process.
• At least one of the following statements is true:
  • Booking operational status is Open, Planned or Tender Rejected
  • Booking operational status is Tendered or Tender Accepted and carrier is configured to allow new shipments on load after tender
  • At least one attached load includes at least one stop where the Dock Schedule Status is Required and not Computed and pick-up and/or delivery has yet to be reported

For a booking to be selected, each of the loads currently attached to the booking must meet the following requirements:

• If any of the loads attached to the booking are attached to a plan, they must be attached to the plan defined for the Optimization Request.
• Optimization Request ID is not assigned for any of the loads on the booking.
• If any of the loads attached to the booking are in Open status, the global setting for open load composition selection applies:
  • If Exclude All Unapproved, the load approved flag for those loads must be true
  • If Include All Unapproved, the load approved flag for those loads may be true or false
  • If Exclude Unapproved Non-Skeleton, the load approved flag for those loads must be true or the load source is Skeleton Load
• Stops must exist for all of the loads.
• None of the loads are suspended.
• Scheduling Active flag is True for all loads.
• If a dock commitment exists for one or more of the stops on the loads for the booking, there must be no applicable Dock Commitment Violations for these dock commitments.
• None of the loads has overridden a hard commitment for an attached shipment leg

If a booking qualifies for selection, each load currently attached to the booking will also be selected.

Note: Bookings will be updated with the applicable Optimizer Request ID when they are selected for re-planning. This ID will be removed when the optimization process completes. Bookings will be unavailable for many functions in Transportation Manager while re-planning is active.
