• Carrier Consolidation Control: This value will be used as a default when creating tariff services for carrier generic or customer specific carrier tariffs. The carrier consolidation control for a tariff service is applicable only when the tariff service is used for shipment legs following the manifest work flow. It will control consolidation of shipment legs for rating during the manifest process. See A/P Manifest Consolidation.
• Carrier Manifest Consolidation Level: This value is used as a default when creating tariff services for carrier generic or customer specific carrier tariffs. The value for a tariff service defines the consolidation precision level: exact address, same building (that is, ignoring suite or unit number), same city, same destination zone, same state/province, same zip/postal code. It is applicable only when the tariff service is used for shipment legs following manifest work flow. It will control consolidation of shipment legs for rating during the manifest process.
• Carrier Freight Bill Status Verification: This setting is used as a default when creating carrier profiles. For carriers, this indicates whether delivery status verification is required before a freight bill from this carrier can be released for payment. Possible values are: proof of delivery required, proof of delivery or delivery notification required, neither proof of delivery or delivery notification required.
• Freight Bill Group Level: This flag is used as a default when creating carrier profiles. The value at carrier level controls the way in which vouchers are grouped onto freight bills. A carrier can be configured to do one of the following: combine all compatible vouchers onto a single freight bill; combine all compatible vouchers with the same voucher effective date to the same freight bill; create a separate freight bill for each voucher.
• Carrier Freight Bill Payment Mode: This value is used as a default when creating carrier specific tariffs or customer specific carrier tariffs. Supported values are: auto-pay, audit. Using auto-pay, the payment to carrier is made without receiving a freight bill from the carrier, using the system calculated amount. In audit mode, payment to carrier will occur when a freight bill from the carrier is matched to an applicable unmatched voucher.
• Voucher Generation for Manifest: This setting is used as a default when creating carrier profiles. The value for the carrier is used to control the voucher generation level for manifests. The carrier can be configured in either of the following ways: create a separate voucher for each shipment leg or shipment leg container, depending on the level where charges were computed; or, create a single voucher representing the entire manifest.
• Detail Charges Required for Freight Bill: Used as the default setting when creating carriers.

  If selected, the freight bill details must contain a monetary amount for each individual charge. For example, separate monetary amounts are provided for the line haul charge, fuel surcharge, additional stop charge, and lift gate charge.

  If not selected, the freight bill details will have a single monetary amount that summarizes the amounts associated with each of the individual charges.

  IMPORTANT: If selected, Voucher Generation for Manifest must be set to Shipment Leg or Shipment Leg Container.
