Shipment Detail Level Control: This flag is used as a default when creating customer profiles. The value in the customer profile time will control whether shipments for the customer will be using just one of the three possible Shipment Detail Levels, or whether the Shipment Detail Level can be specified when creating a shipment. The three levels are: item summary level, item detail level and container detail level. A setting of Optional indicates that shipment detail level can be selected when creating a shipment.
Validate Item: This flag is used as a default when creating customer profiles. The value in the customer profile will control whether item numbers supplied when creating shipments will be validated vs. the Transportation Manager item table. This is applicable only when shipments are defined with item detail level or item summary level .
Origin Country: The Origin Country will be used as a default when creating items in the Transportation Manager item table. Eligible values are defined in the country table. The default country of origin for an item will default to the shipment item table when using item level detail or to the shipment detail table when using item summary level and item validation is mandatory, or when item level details is optional and an item number is identified.
Item Group: This code is used as a default when creating customer profiles. It is validated against the item group table. The value for the customer refers to the item group that will be used when creating shipments for the customer. All items for a customer will belong to the designated item group. This is applicable when creating shipments with item detail level or item summary level and the item number table is being accessed for validation and/or defaults.
Container Type Group: This code is as a default when creating customers. It is validated against the container type group table. The container type group for a customer defines the collection of container types that can be used when creating containers for shipments using item summary level or container detail level. It is also used when creating NOFs for the customer. Container type group is also used to define available containers when a rate calculator request is performed using the mode where a container type is required. For rate calculator where a customer has been specified, the container type group for the customer will define the set of available codes; when customer is not supplied, the default container type in the global settings will be used.
Item Package Level ID: This field defines the item package level ID that is used at the default when using item shipment summary level for an item where Item Package Level data has not been defined.
