Time as a ratable entity

Charges are often determined by time, for example waiting time or on duty time. You can perform rating using time as a rating unit.

You can create tariffs that support rating units based on time.

The available time rating units are:

• Driving time
• Waiting time
• Total elapsed time
• On duty time
• Off duty time
• Loading time
• Unloading time

Both Transportation Manager rating and Transportation Planner support tariffs that use these rating units. The times returned by scheduling are used to calculate time-based charges.
