Support Report Instance

The Support Report Instance field on the Template Properties page is False (unchecked) for templates for system-generated reports and documents. When Support Instance is False, the template is not available for selection in the Create Report page (Report Center > Reports > New). This also means that these Reports are not available for printing and distribution via Report Center. However, these reports can be viewed and distributed within their perspective processes.

Reports/Forms/Documents that are integral parts of a process (process oriented) rather than report instances that can be run in isolation, will have this flag set to "False".

Templates that are system required and do not support report instance cannot be deactivated or modified.

Note: Even though system reports cannot be generated from Report Center, Report Templates have been defined to provide a common methodology for defining Report Level Default Printer and/or Reference Number Qualifier setup.
