The Rollover operation can be triggered via a sub-menu operation that by default is accessed using the More… button from the List of Reference Number Qualifiers. This operation is valid only for Reference Number Qualifiers where:

• Enforce Uniqueness is True
• Rollover Reference Numbers is True
• Minimum Elapsed Days is greater than zero

When Rollover is first requested for a Reference Number Qualifier, the selected Reference Number Qualifier will be duplicated. All existing values for the selected Reference Number Qualifier will be replicated to the new qualifier, with the following exceptions:

• Active will be set to False.
• Enforce Uniqueness will be set to False.
• Original Reference Number Qualifier ID will be populated with the ID for the qualifier for which the Rollover operation was requested.

Also, when a mirrored qualifier is created, the ID for the new Reference Number Qualifier will be mapped to the Mirrored Reference Number Qualifier ID for the qualifier for which the Rollover operation was requested.

The Rollover operation will search for Reference Numbers where all of the following are True:

• Reference Number refers to the Reference Number Qualifier for which the Rollover operation was requested.
• Corresponding transaction for the Reference Number is completed both operationally and financially.
• Number of days between the date portion of Last Updated Date/Time for the identified Reference Number and the current date is greater than the Minimum Elapsed Days defined for the selected Reference Number Qualifier

Each qualifying Reference Number will be updated to refer to the Mirrored Reference Number Qualifier instead of the Original Reference Number Qualifier.
