Resequence loads on trips

The Move Load Up and Move Load Down operations can be used to sequence the loads on a trip's itinerary.

Move Load Up will move the selected load ahead of the next highest load on the trip itinerary. Move Load Down will move the selected load such that it is positioned after the following load on the trip itinerary.

For example: Assume a trip has the following sequence:

Sequence

Load

1

A

2

B

3

C

4

D

If the Move Load Up operation is performed for Load C, the revised trip sequence will be:

Sequence

Load

1

A

2

C

3

B

4

D

If the Move Load Down operation is subsequently performed for Load B, the revised trip sequence will then be:

Sequence

Load

1

A

2

C

3

D

4

B

The Move Load Up operation cannot be performed for the first load in the trip sequence and the Move Load Down operation cannot be performed for the last load on the trip's itinerary.

Trips will remain eligible for this operation when:

Sequencing requirements for loads and stops for a trip must be respected. See "Sequence requirements for loads on trips".

Validation will ensure the integrity of equipment types for consecutive loads on the trip. The trailer equipment types for consecutive loads on a trip can differ only if the affected locations permit drop and hook scenarios.

If validation fails, the re-sequence operation will not be performed.
