Monitor the settings setup workflow

The alert types are divided into four categories: Overdue, Violation, Exception and Notification. Monitoring supports several pre-defined Alert Types. When installed all pre-defined Alert Types are "active" but they are "disabled".

Alert Types for system provided or pre-defined alerts must be enabled in order for the system to start generating corresponding alerts.

A tolerance level must be defined for each alert type and division combination that will be used. Additional Tolerance Levels can be defined for each Alert Type at Carrier and/ or Customer and/ or Shipping Location Levels.

New alert types in the Notification category may be created; these will reference a system provided Monitoring Situation and (optionally) a Reason Code.

Alert Watch Groups can be used to configure automatic distribution of emails so that concerned users will be notified when there is a change in alert status or severity.
