Domicile ID: The ID for the domicile. It is user-assigned, mandatory and cannot be modified after a domicile has been created. Even though each domicile is associated with a specific carrier, Domicile ID must be unique system-wide.
Domicile Description: User maintainable description. It is mandatory. It can be modified in Update mode.
Division: The division for the domicile. It is optional for users that are not restricted to a specific division. It can be modified in Update mode if the Enforce Division and Logistics Group Relationships flag in the Global Settings is False. If a division is not specified, domicile can be used in all divisions. Transportation Planner and Transportation Manager will consider domiciles where division for domicile equals the division for applicable load plan, plus domiciles where division is not defined. The routing process will consider domiciles where division for domicile equals the division for applicable routable entity (load, trip, NOF, shipment leg, rate quotation), plus domiciles where division is not defined.
Location Type: The location type of the corresponding shipping location. Domiciles can be optionally associated with a shipping location. Shipping location must be defined for domicile when Enabled for Optimization/Routing is checked. If specified, location ID must also be specified. When specified, will be a valid location type: load-at, hub, distribution center, consignee. It can be modified in Update mode.
Location ID: The location type of the corresponding shipping location. Domiciles can be optionally associated with a shipping location. Shipping location must be defined for domicile when Enabled for Optimization/Routing is checked. If specified, location type must also be specified. When specified, it will refer to a valid shipping location of the designated location type. It can be modified in Update mode.
Address: If domicile is associated with a shipping location, domicile address will always be equal to the location address. If domicile is not associated with a shipping location, an address must be defined. It can be modified in Update mode if domicile does not refer to a shipping location.
Dispatch Zone: The dispatch zone for this domicile. When the first stop for load is located within the dispatch zone when route is not domicile based, tenders will be directed to the tender contact associated with this domicile. Standard geo-precision logic determines the most appropriate dispatch zone when zones overlap. See "Establish Carrier Tender Contact".Dispatch Zone can be modified in Update mode.
Enabled for Optimization/Routing: Indicates whether the domicile has been enabled for use during optimization and routing. When not checked, domicile will exist to allow tenders to be directed based on dispatch zone but will not be considered during optimization and routing when identifying potential tractor and/or trailer domiciles for a domicile based route. It can be modified in Update mode.
