The following validation are performed to verify the eligibility of the designated loads:
None of the selected loads are currently attached to a trip or booking.
Division for all selected loads must be the same.
Operational Status for the loads must not be Closed or Cancelled.
Financial Status for the loads must be Ineligible or Voucher Pending.
Any hard-committed values for carrier, service, tractor domicile, tractor equipment type or commodity must be the same for all selected loads. Hard committed values for selected loads must also be same as attributes being defined at trip level, if applicable.
If carrier is hard committed for any selected load and/or designated for the trip, this carrier must be configured to allow trips.
Re-planning cannot be active for any of the selected loads.
Validation ensures the integrity of equipment types for consecutive loads on the trip. The trailer equipment types for consecutive loads on a trip can differ only if the affected locations permit drop and hook scenarios.
Load cannot currently be engaged in the auto-tendering process.
Selected loads must not have primary schedule hard committed.
Selected loads must not use booking service.
All selected loads that are attached to a plan must be attached to the same plan
Loads are allowed to be manually assigned to a trip even when the Eligible for Continuation flag for the load is False. The Eligible for Continuation flag for the load will be used by the Optimizer to determine if load should be considered during trip creation / extension strategies.
If validation fails for any reason (for example, one of the selected loads is already attached to a trip, the trip will not be created.
