Booking Merge-in-Transit Consolidation Class (Booking MITCC)
Shipments with the same booking MITCC are assigned to a booking. This is also applicable in Transportation Planner.
Balance Sheet
A financial document that describes the fiscal state of a company. The balance sheet lists all assets and liabilities, thus describing the financial status of the business.

Base Charge
A flat fee charged in addition to any charges that result in rating units being extended by per-unit rates or percentages. It can be incurred at four different levels: service within the tariff, charge code, rate header, or rate detail.
Bill of Lading (BOL)

Bill To
The customer that makes the payments for freight services. A relationship might exist in which freight service invoices for one customer should be sent to another. The customer responsible for paying these invoices is identified as the bill to.

BOL

Booking
A tender made to an ocean carrier to move one or more containers from the a single location to a single location. The freight could be moving port-to-port, port-to-door, door-to-port or door-to-door
Boundary Rule
A boundary rule must be specified for each shipping location in Transportation Manager. These rules are used by Transportation Manager and Load Configurator to determine how groups of shipments from and to different shipping locations can be combined when they are placed on a single truck.
For example: One shipping location may have a rule specifying that shipments from different locations must be separated by a vertical plane running across the width of the truck. The rule for another location may be that shipments to or from it can be placed on top of shipments from or to another shipping location, but that its shipments cannot be moved to accommodate those from another location.
