Earliest/Latest post-discharge start time specifies the number of hours after a carrier drops off a loaded trailer, within which unloading should start. It is applicable to the last drop-off stop of a load for non-live unloading when scheduling is active.
When the Earliest/Latest Post-Discharge hours are defined, the carrier drop-off window could be earlier than the delivery windows of all applicable shipment legs to be dropped at the stop. Post-discharge unloading is also scheduled and must satisfy all shipment leg delivery windows, the Earliest/Latest Post-Discharge Start hours, and business open hours for the location and dock. Scheduling uses carrier drop-off time plus Earliest/Latest Post-Discharge Start hours to determine the possible window for post-discharge unloading. If carrier drop-off time plus Earliest/Latest Post-Discharge Start hours happen to fall into a closed period for the location/dock, post-discharge is then scheduled at the next open time for the location and dock.
Live unloading time calculation applies to the trailer post-discharge.
Earliest/Latest pre-loading end time specifies the number of hours before a carrier picks up a loaded trailer, within which loading should complete. It is applicable to the first pick-up stop of a load for non-live loading when scheduling is active. The concept and usage of these values are similar to Earliest/Latest Post-Discharge Start.
Note: Pre-loading/post-discharge does not apply when trailer swap occurs at an intermediate stop or when a load is a manifest load.
