Locale
Country: The country for the locale. A locale is combination of country and language. This must refer to a row in the country table. It is mandatory and cannot be modified in Update mode.
Language: The language for the locale. A locale is combination of country and language. It must refer to an entry in the language domain table. It is mandatory and cannot be modified in Update mode.
System Provided: Indicates whether this Locale has been provided as part of the base Transportation Manager data set. Setting is controlled exclusively by the application.
Active: Indicates whether the locale is active. Only active locales can be associated with a user profile. Unneeded system provided locales should be deactivated.
Is Default: Indicates whether this is the default locale. Exactly one locale must be the default. If set from False to True, setting for the existing default locale will be changed from True to False. Locale for new users will be the locale where Is Default is True.
Favorite Countries: Comma delimited list of the favorite countries for the locale. This will usually include the country of the locale and it could also include other countries. Each value must refer to a distinct row in the country table. Favorite countries will appear at the top of combo boxes for countries in the Web UI.
Language Files
Text File Language: The language for the text file used for this locale. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the text / error file languages domain table. The designated file contains the text labels that appear on web UI pages.
Text File Country: The country for the text file for this locale. Optional. If defined, this must refer to a row in the country table. If specified, web UI will use the text file that combines the text file language for the locale and this country code (e.g. "Text_en_us") else web UI will use the text file that refers only to the text file language for the locale (e.g. "Text_en").
Error File Language: The language for the error message file used for this locale. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the text / error file languages domain table. This designated file contains the error messages that are presented on web UI pages.
Error File Country: The country for the error file for this locale. Optional. If defined, this must refer to a row in the country table. If specified, web UI will use the error file that combines the error file language for the locale and this country code (e.g. "Error_en_us") else web UI will use the error file that refers only to the error file language for the locale (e.g. "Error_en").
Help File Language: The language for the help file used for this locale. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the help file languages domain table. This designated file contains the help text that is accessible from UI pages.
Help File Country: The country for the help file for this locale. Optional. If defined, this must refer to a row in the country table. If specified, web UI will use the help file that combines the help file language for the locale and this country code (e.g. "WebHelp_en_us") else web UI will use the help file that refers only to the help file language for the locale (e.g. "WebHelp_en").
Date/Time/Duration Formatting
Date Format: The format used for the locale when presenting date values or the date portion of date/time values. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the internal date format domain table. Supported values are: Year Month Day, Day Month Year, Month Day Year, and Year Day Month. The symbol used to separate Day, Month, and Year is configurable using Separator for Date Format.
Separator for Date Format: The character used to separate the day, month and year components of date fields. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the date separator character domain table. Supported values are: Period (.), Hyphen (-), and Slash (/).
Display Text for Date Format: The text that is presented with date fields to remind the user of the applicable date format (e.g. "MM/DD/YYYY"). Mandatory.
Separator for Time Format: The character used for time fields or the time portion of date/time fields to separate the hours and minutes. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the time separator character domain table. Supported values are: Period (.), Hyphen (-), Slash (/), Comma (,), and Colon (:).
Display Text for Time Format: The text that is presented with time fields to remind the user of the applicable time format (e.g. "HH:MM"). Mandatory.
Separator for Date/Time Format: The character used to separate date and time portions of date/time fields. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the date time separator character domain table. Supported values are: Period (.), Hyphen (-), Slash (/), Colon (:), the "At" Symbol (@) and Blank ( ).
Display Text for Date/Time Format: The text that is presented with date/time fields to remind the user of the applicable date and time format (e.g. "MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM"). Mandatory.
Minutes Format: The format used for the locale for values that represent a number of hours, minutes or seconds with fractions. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the internal minutes format domain table. Supported values are: Hours with Fractions in Decimal, Minutes with Fractions in Seconds, Minutes with Fractions in Decimal, and Seconds with Fractions in Decimal. The symbol used to separate the units and fractions is configurable using Separator for Minutes Format. If Hours with Fractions in Decimal, forty five and three-quarters of a minute would be "0.7625" while if Minutes with Fractions in Seconds, it would be "45.45" while if Minutes with Fractions in Decimal it would be "45.75" while if Seconds with Fractions in Decimal, it would be "2745.00".
Display Text for Minutes Format: For fields representing a number of minutes, this is the text that is presented to remind the user of the unit of measure or format for the applicable value (e.g. "Minutes", "HH.DM", "MM.SS", "MM.DM", "SS.DM", "Mins.Secs"). Mandatory. The size of the fields will vary depending on the Minutes Format:
Hours with Fractions in Decimal: Maximum is 9999.99999
Minutes with Fractions in Seconds: Maximum is 599999.9994
Minutes with Fractions in Decimal: Maximum is 599999.59
Seconds with Fractions in Decimal: Maximum is 35999999.964
Separator for Minutes Format: For fields representing a number of minutes, this is the character that is used to (1) separate the full number of hours from the value that represents a fraction of an hour (a decimal portion of an hour), (2) separate the full number of minutes from the value that represents a fraction of a minute (could be seconds or a decimal portion of a minute) or (3) separate the full number of seconds from the value that represents a fraction of a second (a decimal portion of a second). Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the time separator character domain table. Supported values are: Period (.), Hyphen (-), Slash (/), Comma (,), and Colon (:).

Separator for Numeric Decimal: The character used as a decimal separator for the locale. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the numeric decimal separator domain table. Supported values are: Period (.) and Comma (,). This value will be used to format monetary amounts as well as quantities with fractions (e.g. weight, volume).
Start Day for Calendar Week: The first day of the week for the locale. Mandatory. It must refer to an entry in the day of week domain table. This will be used when formatting pages that prompt for values corresponding to the days of the week. It is also used when formatting the pop-up calendar page that can be used to establish a value for date fields. Support values are: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Popup Window Width: The initial width (in pixels) for the web UI pop-up calendar page that can be used to establish a value for date fields. Mandatory. Maximum 999.
Popup Window Height: The initial height (in pixels) for the web UI pop-up calendar page that can be used to establish a value for date fields. Mandatory. Maximum 999.
Long Button Line Length: The longest length (in pixels) for a button that appears on a web UI page for this locale. Mandatory. Maximum 999.
Short Button Line Length: The shortest length (in pixels) for a button that appears on a web UI page for this locale. Mandatory. Maximum 999.
Average Character Width: The average width of a character in the language used by this locale. Mandatory. Maximum 99.
