Loading/Unloading Buffers
This editable grid allows you to define a maximum percentage by which you can increase the variable loading and unloading time based on the number of item types that are loaded or unloaded at a stop. Rows can be added, updated, or deleted from the grid.
By default, the grid is sorted in ascending order by the Number of Item Types field. For information on icons and functionalities available on list pages, see Web Interface lists.
The following columns are displayed in the grid:
Number of Item Types: When a stop will require loading or unloading freight that includes a number of item types between this value and the next highest value in this table, the corresponding buffer percentages will be applied to the computed variable loading / unloading time. If there is no higher value, then the buffer percentages will apply to stops with this number of item types, or higher.
Loading Buffer Percentage: Defines the percentage by which the variable loading time will be increased when the corresponding number of item types will be loaded at a stop.
Unloading Buffer Percentage: Defines the percentage by which the variable unloading time will be increased when the corresponding number of item types will be unloaded at a stop.
Note: Opt Parameter, ApplyBufferTimeToDockOnly (default is False) will control whether buffer is included only when computing variable times for locations with docks (when True) or whether buffer is also included when computing variable times for locations without docks (when False).
