Skeleton Location view operations in Transportation Smartbench

This section lists skeleton location view operations in alphabetical order with a brief description.

You can access entity view operations in any of the following ways:

Select an operation from the operation toolbar
Right-click over the entity grid’s row selection check box
Note: This method requires the presence of at least one row in the entity grid.

Note: Administrator can configure operations for a role. Only the authorized operations are displayed in your operation toolbar.

The Transportation Smartbench (TSB) performs basic validations when an operation is initiated.

Front-end validations include the following:

To test whether an operation requires row selection or supports multi-row selection
To halt an operation when the user is not authorized to the plan(s) referenced in the selection

Front-end validation errors display in the form of a dialog box. If a validation message is displayed, the entire operation is halted and you must take appropriate corrective action before re-initiating the operation.

When configured, the TSB displays a confirmation dialog box allowing you to cancel the action before it is passed to the back-end API for execution.

Comprehensive validations are performed by back-end APIs servicing most TSB operations. The results of operations are summarized in a single message and displayed on the title bar of the Results View. As a result, some objects in the selection may succeed while others may fail. The message in the Results View summarizes the status of the whole operation. The outcome of the operation on individual objects in the selection can be viewed by clicking the message. This opens the TSB session log to show messages for each object-operation performed since the start of the TSB session.

Loads	Yes	Opens a Load view listing all loads that carry the skeleton route number of selected skeleton locations.
Properties	No	Displays properties of the skeleton route associated with the selected skeleton location.
Reset	Not applicable	Reverts all unsaved row-level changes to original values.
Skeleton Routes	Yes	Opens a Skeleton Route view listing all skeleton routes for selected skeleton locations.
Stops	Yes	Displays the Stop view listing stops based on the Skeleton Location ID of selected skeleton locations.
Submit	Not applicable	Posts all row-level changes to the database.
Update Route	No	Allows you to update the skeleton route details related to the selected skeleton location. See Update a skeleton route. Use this operation, for example, to add or remove skeleton locations against an existing skeleton route.
